"A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between ST Engineering Aerospace and Republic Polytechnic on 22nd August 2013 to explore collaboration and internship opportunities to add learning value for RP students and staff in our Aerospace Diploma programmes.  Our students enjoyed the opportunities to undergo internship with the various subsidiaries within ST Engineering Aerospace and visited the aircraft hangars and workshops for exposure to aircraft (maintenance, repair and overhaul) works.  This partnership with ST Engineering Aerospace Training Centre has been fruitful and beneficial for us in Republic Polytechnic."

"ST Engineering Aerospace is among the pioneering companies in Singapore to embark on the Approved Training Centre journey with ITE.  With a partnership spanning more than 30 years since July 1985, ST Engineering Aerospace has trained more than 1,200 Aerospace trainees to achieve the National ITE Certificate (Nitec) Aircraft Maintenance certification, a nationally-recognised qualification.  Many of the staff trained have gone on to realise their aspirations in successful careers in the Aerospace industry as aircraft technicians, instructors, engineers, executives and leadership management positions.

In addition to training their staff, ST Engineering Aerospace has also been a strong supporter in the WorldSkills Singapore competitions, contributing both cash as sponsors, as well as volunteering their staff to serve and lead in the WorldSkills technical committees in the Aerospace categories.

ITE values the long and strong partnership with ST Engineering Aerospace.  The industry partnership arrangements between ST Engineering Aerospace and ITE has offered the many possibilities of tapping on each other's strengths, creating the ability to channel knowledge and resources to address the technical developmental needs in transforming technical education in the aerospace sector in Singapore.

ITE wishes to congratulate ST Engineering Aerospace on the launch of their technical training centre website.  As we move into the next 50 years of Singapore's development, we look forward to deepening and fostering an even stronger collaboration with ST Engineering Aerospace in Singapore and overseas."
